An Overview of Killer Nashville Scholarships
Killer Nashville International Writers' Conference was established in 2006 by writer and filmmaker Clay Stafford as an opportunity for established writers to give back to the writers of tomorrow. Many writers who need the information and networking available at Killer Nashville are also the same individuals who cannot afford it. Our view is that money should never separate an author from their dreams. Over the years, the generosity of other authors, publishers, organizations, and associations has been overwhelming and has gone on to change many author's lives, many finding publication, careers, or even some taking back the information and connections and sharing them with the writing community, changing other lives on a local level. We'd love for you to join the scholarship sponsors of 2023 in supporting new writers this upcoming year.
Scholarships can be given in any amount. Even $50 helps. Scholarships of $454 or higher will be listed by individual name on the website https://www.killernashville.com/killer-nashville-scholarships Anything less will be listed by name on the site among others who give to the general fund.
As an example of where the money goes: $454 will provide one registration for the 2023 conference. $963 provides access to all activities and functions at the conference. $2,220 will usually include all conference activities and transportation and lodging.
Your support in any amount is greatly appreciated. You will change the life of a writer.
